Which private desert tour should I choose from Marrakech?
With 2 days, choose the 2-day Zagora tour: one night in a desert camp after crossing the High Atlas. With 3 or 4 days, choose the 3-day or 4-day Marrakech to Merzouga tour to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes; the 4-day version adds Rissani and a slower pace. How many days do I need for a private Morocco tour?
One day is enough for a day trip from Marrakech such as Ourika, Essaouira, Ouzoud or Ait Ben Haddou. Plan 2 to 3 days for one night in a desert camp, 4 to 7 days to combine the Sahara with Fes, Marrakech and the imperial cities, and 9 to 12 days for a full circuit with Chefchaouen and the coast. Should I start my tour from Marrakech, Casablanca or Fes?
Start where you land or where you want to sleep first. Marrakech is the closest base for the Atlas, Zagora, Merzouga and day trips. Casablanca suits the 7 to 12 day circuits that start at the airport. Fes is the starting point for Chefchaouen, the northern cities and the Fes to Marrakech desert crossing.
Can I travel one way, for example from Fes to Marrakech?

What is the best time of year for a private Morocco tour?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) usually make it easiest to combine cities, mountains and the Sahara. A 25% deposit of the total price confirms your reservation. It is refundable if you cancel up to 4 days before the tour starts and non-refundable from 4 days before the start date. See the Terms of Service.
Is it safe to travel in Morocco on a private tour?
